Which Sports Cars Can Participate?

The event is open to non-Porsche cars as long as your car complies with and passes the Niagara Region PCA Technical Inspection requirements described below.

Event Description

This is a non-competitive driving event, focusing on learning high-performance driving techniques in a controlled environment. Includes in-car instruction, classroom presentations, and plenty of track time. Check out the videos below for more information.

The mission and purpose of the Porsche Club of America’s Driver Education Program is to provide a safe, structured and controlled teaching and learning environment. The PCA DE Program is designed so that participants can improve their driving abilities and acquire a better understanding of vehicle dynamics and driving safety. Participants will experience first-hand the capabilities of high-performance automobiles in a controlled, closed-course environment and acquire skills that will enhance safer vehicle operation in all driving situations.

Novice-to-Advanced HPDE

Costs

  • Students: $525
  • Garages: $60
  • Register and pay by May 1 to receive a free event item.

Intro HPDE (Taste of the Track option)

This one-day experience is an introduction to HPDE held on the second day of the May and September Events. You will attend the drivers’ meeting, participate in the Taste of the Track specific classroom sessions, be driven for hot laps with an NRPCA Instructor for one session and be allowed to drive your own car with an instructor in a unique run group-specific only to TOT drivers. You will have an opportunity to drive your car at speed for two sessions; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Space is limited.

Registration

ClubRegistration.net is the only online event registration site endorsed by the National Porsche Club of America (PCA).

  1. Create an account on ClubRegistration.net for quick-and-easy event registrations, including credit card payments. You will only need to register once because the site will retain your information for future events.
  2. Once registration for the event is open, search for it and then register using the secure online payment option. IMPORTANT: Your registration is not complete until payment is received. Registering without paying DOES NOT hold your place.

Registration for this event commences at midnight on January 1, 2020.

Tech Requirements and Forms

Print a Tech Form found on our Driver Education page, get your car teched, and bring the form to the event. Event details (Activity Schedule, Track Schedule, Garage Assignments, etc.) will be posted our Driver Education page as they become available. PRINT ANY DOCUMENTS YOU NEED, AND BRING THEM WITH YOU; they will not be available at the track.
